England

Here we have a traditionally styled mead, a time-honoured tipple which dates back hundreds if not thousands of years, from Lyme Bay Winery in Devon. It’s made in small batches with honey, and bottled at 14.5% ABV. A fab pairing with cheeses.
Full of sweet dessert wine flavours, with a refreshing dryness and full of warming, rich honey, with a hint of honeycomb on the finish.

I have bought this mead every year before Christmas and we love it.
Tastes a lot more like wine compared to Moniak. Tastes like it is made in the same way as Lyndisfarne Mead, with a wine base and added honey. Still nice but definitely not 100% honey mead like Moniak.
I love this. It’s real mead, go to the website for evidence! I always have a bottle in my little bar.
Unbelievably wonderful !
It's not 100% mead and if you think it is, you are mistaken. It's tasty, but a bit too acidic for my taste. Very up front with the sugar content and definitely packs a honey punch. It really depends on what you are looking for. If you want something really sweet to accompany desert or maybe touch up your ice cream with, you will love this. It's very rich, flavorful and lingers on the palette. But if you want something to drink all night... this might be a bit much. Think of this as a desert wine and nothing more. Give it a try and see for yourself.
