Forget Zwacks attempt to compete with the Willy Wonka candy factory Jagermeister. And sweet talk aside,Unicum is far the superior blend here. Grapefruity afterburn makes it strange and exotic. Whether on the rocks or room temp, you can't go wrong with the original.
very strange taste like cough medicine mixed with absinthe. defiantly worth a try if you like trying different drinks.
Be warned, if you're expecting the classic Hungarian Zwack Unicum -- which is more like a bitter liqueur -- this is not it. This is a version made by Zwack for the export/tourist market, sold in Hungary as Unicum-Next. It's syrupy sweet, and lacks the complex bitter flavors of the original. Very disappointing if you're expecting Unicum.
