A fascinating plum liqueur from France, made with Golden Japanese plums which are macerated in grape spirit, which is then matured in ex-Cognac casks! Enjoy in a summer-y cocktail, or perhaps pour a measure over ice and savour the refreshing, fruity flavours.
Mellow plum flesh arrives at first, soon joined by a touch of plum skin acidity. Develops hints of peanut brittle and red fruit.
