Melon Liqueurs

Melon liqueurs, or creme de melon as they are known in French, are perfect for adding a dash of melony magic to your cocktails. The big name here is Midori but all the classic liqueur companies like Bols and De Kuyper also make melon liqueurs. They are commonly made by infusing or distilling melon flavor into a neutral alcohol base. Most are coloured green, though this is food colouring rather than the natural colour of the melon. Popular melon liqueur cokctails include the Melon Ball, Midori Sour, and a Melon Martini.
