Croatian Maraschino liqueur, made with Marasca cherries grown in and around the city of Zadar. Maraska have been making Maraschino for years upon years and even took their name from those special sour cherries used to make it. Plenty of rich almond and cherry notes to be found here, which should make your Aviation really take off.
Disgustingly sweet. Any flavour is drowned by the overpowering sugary-ness. Undrinkable - this is going down the sink.
I bought a bottle of this while in Zadar earlier this year and I absolutely love it! It has delicious cherry and almond flavours, kind of like a Bakewell tart. So glad to find somewhere I can buy more
