Pears are awesome, but it's hard to find them when they're ripe. What's the solution to getting your fill of pear flavours? Why, it's Kruskovac, of course! A Croatian pear liqueur that is often drank alongside desserts. Anything that goes well with cake is A-OK with us!
At his Christmas party no one wanted to drink anything else, the bottle emptied in the first half hour. Absolutely delicious, apparently.
Nice! Very morish! I remember it from Croatia in the 80s and also Maraschino and the delicious Apricot liqueur made by Maraska. The Apricot and Maraschino were my favourites. Why don't they still make the Apricot? I think they also made a good Banana liqueur.

Of liqueur types, Kruskovac is my superior favourite. For several years we have travelled on the island of Hvar where we almost every day ate a wonderful dinner for the whole great family at the cozy restaurant on the quay by all the luxury yachts for movie stars and more. by name "4 Palme." If it was full, we were placed on a "wait-bench" and everyone got a "wait-drink" which consisted of about 1 part cherry liqueur and 3 parts Kruskovac pear liqueur. having to wait a bit for a table.
Came across it for the first time this summer in Croatia - certainly the nicest drink I've ever had too.
