Luxardo's Sangue Morlacco is made with Italian marasca cherries and is aged in oak vats for two years. The perfect digestif and great in cocktails.
This is alright, but, if you are intending to make drinks like the Blood & Sand, cherry Manhattan, Copenhagen, Ankle Breaker etc. you're far better off with Merlet Soeurs Cerises or Cherry Heering, which have a great deal more depth and complexity. It's worth the investment.
