Le Birlou
A French apple and chestnut aperitif liqueur in a larger 70cl size bottle. The French for chestnut is châtaigne, of course, but another term from the south of France is 'pelou', from which this takes its name.
Tart and fruity apples, cooked apple too, with sweet and spicy chestnut. Together they combine to create a comforting apple pie effect.
