Drambuie
Drambuie is a very famous whisky liqueur made with Scotch whisky, heather and herbs and spices. Produced in West Lothian, Scotland, Drambuie offers flavours such as anise, nutmeg and saffron.
Drambuie has a long history dating back to the 18th century when it was first created in Scotland.
Drambuie is often enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but can also be used in cocktails. It is a versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in many ways.
Drambuie is mothers milk to me. I can never afford a large bottle so miniature is my 'go to' can't bloody find any!! So, to find it at $40+ is amazing!!! Bring it on. Love it!!
Drambuie on ice is a delicately smooth and satisfying drink. Not as harsh as whisky and best drunk alone with ice.....
Marvellous. But it is a whisky based liqueur, it is NOT a whisky. As GrandMarnier is a brandy based liqueur, not a brandy. It is sweet, too sweet for me, so I add good malt whisky 50/50 and ideally leave it to mature for some weeks.
some of the neg reviews on here clearly don't understand what this is for, it's not something cheap to drink on it's own, it's something that takes great care and time to produce, but is best used in a rusty nail
Sorry but I do not like this. The taste is bitter and very sweet like Jägermeister. Tastes nothing like whisky or honey. If you like Jägermeister or other bitter drams go ahead.
