Drambuie
Drambuie is a very famous whisky liqueur made with Scotch whisky, heather and herbs and spices. Produced in West Lothian, Scotland, Drambuie offers flavours such as anise, nutmeg and saffron.
Drambuie has a long history dating back to the 18th century when it was first created in Scotland.
Drambuie is often enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but can also be used in cocktails. It is a versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in many ways.

Oh dear. Now I love liqueurs with honey as a major ingredient, but (ironically, given their market dominance) don't believe that whisky is the best base. Anyway, was very fond of Drambuie as no one flavour was overpowering, not the whisky, not the honey. Whatever that mix of honey, herbs and spices, it gave a rich, warming taste. Now it doesn't give much taste at all. Will finish the bottle in company at Christmas - after the sherry, wine and port, nobody will notice, or care - and will not be buying again.
Didn't believe the reviews... so I went out and got a bottle of new & compared to some in the old.... so sad to ruin a tradition. Color is off, and taste is not the same. I'm thinking cheaper ingredients or distillment process changed. Definitely seems to be a change in honey.
I used to love Drambui and stock up each Christmas when on discount I truly hate the new recipe. Reminds me of when they changed coke to a better recipe This is so different unless you advetise a lot a lare persentage of those who use to buy stop and are not replace . Who are the new people who lke this please someone post a similar product to the old version
I thought there was something wrong with the last couple of bottles! Took me a while - thought it was a bad batch, but the recipe has been watered down and does not taste the same. Change it back, please, or I find something better! And I agree, this new bottle drips, too!
Tastes like a weak Jägermeister..I agree need the old recipe back
