    Great Smooth Liquor

Love it! Nice& smooth going down. I always use Drambuie when I have chest congestion!

    Awesome

I love it.. too much! It’s great for calming nerves and stomach problems when over eating. My favorite is straight over crushed ice. The best Rusty Nail I had was at the Ritz in London!

Just nowhere near what it used to be

I have to agree with others here: something drastic has befallen this liqueur as it no longer provides that feeling of contentment when being consumed. Being introduced to it many years ago, it had a smooth and warming effect and could readily beckon a second glass or two. Sadly the last few bottles I bought tended to have a feeling of harshness in the throat and lacked that wonderful sense of smoothness. This I found to be not only the case with the Red and Gold labelled "standard" but also the 15 yo which I treasured when first sampling it. Sadly, these experiences have made me turn away from the liqueur as I cannot, with any confidence, consider purchasing another bottle until such time as it has been proven to have returned to the level I formerly knew.
