Licor 43 is a world-famous Spanish liqueur made from a secret recipe of 43 different herbs, spices, citrus and vanilla. Licor 43 has been produced in the city of Cartagena, Spain since the early 1900s. Licor 43 is one of the most popular liqueurs in Spain.
The history of Licor 43 dates back to Roman times. It is said that after the Roman Empire conquered Quart Hadas in the South East of Spain, they found a delicious drink made from citrus and various herbs.
Creamy, fruity aromas. Vanilla to the fore.
Hints of orange, soft spices, dried herbs and custard apples.
Long, fruity finish.
First tasted in Mexico and always brought back 2 bottles each time we visited then rationed for special occasions. We asked the liquor store about it and they order it in for us now but it has to be 6 bottles at a time. Try asking them to do it for you.
A beautiful drink in many different forms. Went to the distillery in Spain near Cartagena. Fantastic tour. If you are in the area book the 9 euro tour. Great tasting!
My sister introduced me to 43 in Alberta, Canada. I'm in love but can't seem to find it anywhere near me! Does anybody know if its available in Ontario, Canada?
i first had it from a lady in az and it was hard to find at first but then now they even sell in large in 1 litre its the best i have ever tasted
I found this drink whilst in sa.coma Majorca in may this year , its absolutely amazing and I cant wait for me return trip in september to buy a couple of bottles as gifts for my family at christmas .
