Cointreau Noir is a superbly rich, juicy, elegant liqueur which was introduced to the UK market in late 2014. It features a blend of the classic Cointreau orange liqueur with their own Cognac, along with an infusion of almonds and walnuts. Whereas Cointreau often finds itself becoming a main focus of cocktails, Cointreau Noir is made for sipping neat or enjoyed with ice.
This is magnificent - hard (though not impossible) to go back to regular Cointreau after trying this.
I love cointreau but this is even better with a good kick of congac!
Oh my goodness, thais has to be a constant presence in the drinks cupboard. Most delicious digestif.
A delightful tipple in the evening. The cognac adds a dark background note. Equally good neat or over an ice cube - prefer neat not to lose the taste. Superior to straight Cointreau.
