This is magnificent - hard (though not impossible) to go back to regular Cointreau after trying this.

Oh my goodness, thais has to be a constant presence in the drinks cupboard. Most delicious digestif.
A delightful tipple in the evening. The cognac adds a dark background note. Equally good neat or over an ice cube - prefer neat not to lose the taste. Superior to straight Cointreau.
