Bolivian Coca Leaf liqueurs are said to date back to the De Medici family with Rudyard Kipling going as far as to state that they were made "from the clippings and shavings of angels' wings".
Agwa, distilled in the Netherlands, adds Chinese Green Tea, African Mint, Amazonian and Argentinean Guarana, and Ginseng to their (de-cocainised) Bolivian Coca Leaf as part of 37 different herbs and botanicals.
Often served as a shooter (after a slice of lime for a 'Bolivian Kiss') or with energy drink but also makes for an interesting Mojito or Margarita…
Sweet Lemon and Lime (especially lime) just like green Opal Fruits (or 'Starburst' if you must) up front with some herbal notes, eucalyptus and green apple too.

I love this liqueur. It has a lovely flavor and just a small shot is enough to satisfy the urge for an after dinner or really anytime drink.
Served at my local as a shot instead of the usual fireball.... Its dangerously smooth and flavoursome. Drink with care as when you realise you've had enough it'll be too late. Very enjoyable herbal taste with zero burn.

The bulb glasses u get in the box make it super easy to mix the right amount of Agwa with (brand name)energy drink. 3 shots like this when you get home from a hard nights dancing at your local night club & you'll be talkin chaff with ur mates till dawn break.
