Festival highlights
The festival is nine days of whisky, music, great company, beautiful landscapes, and more to enjoy. And we've got whisky from every distillery for you to snap up.
Day 1: Port ellen Distillery
Port Ellen is the legendary ghost distillery that is set to reopen this year, but before we can taste the new spirit we’ve got some of the old and rare stock made before it closed.

Day 2: Lagavulin Distillery
Lagavulin isn’t just for actor Nick Offerman, we can all enjoy the delights of this sublime distillery. Lagavulin 16 remains one of the true great whiskies for good reason.
DAY 3: Bruichladdich Distillery
Not every whisky from Islay is peated and Bruichladdich has sweet, rich, and beautiful whisky to share. Although if you want your smoke then Octomore will knock your socks off.
DAY 4: CAOL ILA distillery
The kings of independent bottlings, everyone wants a bit of Caol Ila and we have more of this smoky treat than you can shake a lump of peat at.
DAY 5: LAPHROAIG distillery
The big, medicinal, smokehouse of Laphroaig whisky is one that has charmed whisky lovers for centuries and we expect many of you will want to indulge this week.
DAY 6: BOWMORE distillery
Islay’s oldest distillery continues to be a firm favourite, with the classic 12 Year Old remaining a bargain bottling to introduce you to the world of smoky whisky.
DAY 7: KILCHOMAN & MAC-TALLA
Kick it Kilchoman style and enjoy the fruits of the labour from Islay’s only independent farm distillery or mix it up with Mac-Talla.
DAY 8: BUNNAHABHAIN & JURA
Bunna and Jura share a day. But there’s so much to appreciate about both that you could keep going back to each distillery’s ample supply of whisky for years and years.
DAY 9: ARDBEG
Ardbeg gets to draw the festival to a close with its signature brand of big, smoky delights, including festival bottling Heavy Vapours.
