A rather fragrant tipple here joining spirits and tea! The original York Gin has been distilled with Earl Grey tea and also infused with pea flower, giving it a rather appropriate blue-grey hue alongside the fragrant, citrusy flavour profile. The original gin is inspired by York's history, and this expression is no different, with its name, Grey Lady, a nod to the ghost of the same name said to haunt the city's Theatre Royal.
Bergamot from the Earl Grey stands alongside a core of juniper and a touch of honey, with lemon citrus and a spiced finish.
Possibly the best so far from York. The citrus is unmistakable yet beautifully subtle. Well done. To better some of your other excellent dry gins is quite something.
