Wye Valley
If you ever go to Wales, you should check out Wye Valley. It's got some pretty incredible views - in fact, the views were so incredible that they inspired the Silver Circle Distillery to create Wye Valley Gin! This expression features a selection of botanicals from the Wye Valley area, including blackberry leaf, elderflower, linden flowers, mugwort, Scots pine and sweet woodruff, alongside more traditional gin botanicals like juniper, coriander and grapefruit. Richly herbaceous and fragrant, this will make for some incredible autumnal cocktails, we reckon.
Earthy though sweet with light vanilla and honey, hints of peppery coriander and juniper working well with the pine and leafy elements.
Visited Distillery whilst on holiday with family and very friendly and interesting tour. Good value for money. Hosts were generous with both their time and samples! Recommended.
Went to the distillery when we were staying in Tintern and tried this gin, and it was so good we've been buyng it ever since. I think it's my top favourite!
Reminds me of walking on a woodland path at dusk just after a warm late spring day. The air is thick with a sweet perfume from sun soaked flowers in bloom at the time, backed by wooden and earthy tones from the trees and the sunkissed earth. This is a cracking gin will definitely be having a few.
