Whitley Neill's gin range grows once again with the addition of this Aloe & Cucumber Gin! Inspired by South Africa's Karoo Desert, this features a hearty helping of aloe to give it a fragrant, vegetal though subtly sweet flavour profile, bolstered by familiar cucumber freshness.
Grassy and herbaceous. A clean, crisp mouth-feel with enough juniper bite to balance the intense vegetal notes.
Fab you can really taste the cucumber. I had it with slimline tonic and It really refreshing
If you like 'ginny' gin and are also a fan of cucumber this is a must try. Very heavy on both in flavour and extremely cucumber on the nose. My absolute favourite from the Whitley Neill collection. Tastes like summer in a glass in my opinion and i enjoyed many a glass over the summer(not to say i wont continue over the winter). Ive enjoyed it with plain tonic or sparkling water. The only downside is that it isnt ine of the more readily available flavours where i live so i usually have to order online or in at the local off license
If you like cucumber, then you will like this gin. It smells and tastes like cucumber. Love all Whitely Neill gins that I have tried but this not a favourite. Not for me as I prefer the fruity gins from this distrillery.
Absolutely gorgeous. Tried the rhubarb & ginger, which I found too sweet then tried the Aloe & Cucumber, heavenly. Loved it. Thanks Whitley & Neill
If you like gin, rather than flavoured gin, you're likely to really enjoy this. It's not like W/Ns other flavoured offerings (which I'm no fan of), and it retains plenty of juniper in its flavour. Try it with F/T elderflower tonic and a long peel of cucumber. Very very nice indeed.
