You don't see enough gooseberry-flavoured things these days, we reckon. Whitley Neill is looking to fix that with its Gooseberry Gin! Putting the tasty fruit to the fore of this expression, supported by citrus peels, pears, plums, and a host of classic gin botanicals, Whitley Neill has created a tangy treat for all your refreshing cocktail needs.
Vanilla, liquorice, zesty orchard fruits with some white grape brightness, softly spicy notes of cassia and juniper build on the finish.

Tried with Elderflower Tonic, light, refreshing, pleasant citrus afternotes.
I bought a bottle of this as a little treat. It’s a delicious summertime gin- nice paired with hibiscus tonic, I think. I still prefer rhubarb for its depth of flavour (and because it pairs well with ginger ale when I’m not in the mood for tonic!).
Refreshingly different. Tastes very strongly of gooseberries. Like a chewy gooseberry jam, yet not sweet. Flavoursome. Have mine with plain tonic water and a couple of slices of fresh strawberry. Lovely to sit in the garden in the evening with a glass or two.
Refreshing and summery. Great mixed with apple juice and tonic with a lemon wedge aka gooseberry fool. Not a great Gin compared with something like Gunpowder.
It has a few pleasant undertones, but has a strange aftertaste, and is really quite sweet. Reminds me of an alcopop.
