Gin Kitchen Gutsy Monkey Bottling Note

The Gin Kitchen in Dorking have sorted all your gin-based needs for when the weather gets chilly with its Gutsy Monkey Winter Gin! A warming concoction boasting spicy notes of coriander, black pepper, allspice, cumin and ginger, alongside lime, thyme and the ever-present juniper. Ought to go very well with ginger ale, we reckon...

Warming cassia and black pepper as it opens, blending well with oak-y juniper. Continued heat of allspice and punchy ginger.

Lovely gin but the garnish matters
I love this gin and am lucky enough to live near the distillery where they'll refil the pottery bottles with a £5 discount. This gin does have quite a strong and spicy flavour to it but it's like nothing else out there that I've come across. The original suggested serve for this is lime and blueberries, which I still garnish with. There's another suggestion of lime, sage and red pepper and I don't think that works at all. I've also had it served in a bar with star anise and that totally ruined the flavour. Lime and blueberry so far seems to be the way.

Winters Ruin
One of the best gins I’ve ever tasted. Rich & complex with an unusual warming tone that shouldn’t work with gin but somehow really does

I'm in love with a bottle
Got my hands on this thing recently, and I'm in love. this is an extraordinary gin, hands down. My favourite so far and it spoils you for other Gins.

The Best Gin in the World!
Gin is a passion of mine and I'm always trying new ones. Before Gutsy Monkey my favourite for many years has been Monkey 47 - Nothing came close until now. Unexpectedly, Gutsy Monkey betters the other Monkey and in my book that makes Gutsy the best gin in the world.

If you love a good gin and tonic - or you know somebody that does - you must try Gutsy. All other gins taste rather dull and flavourless in comparison.
