The Cotswolds Distillery in Stourton is up and running - hooray! This is their Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Following this, they add a botanical selection including bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper, cardamom seed and Cotswolds lavender to their carter head still for distillation. To bring it down to bottling strength, a robust 46% ABV, they use naturally refined Cotswolds water.
The Cotswolds Distillery also released its own single malt whisky in 2017 - so you can get your hands on a bottle now!
Light, floral juniper blends well with the Cotswolds lavender. This soon gives way to the vibrant grapefruit peel and warming cardamom.
Opening with grapefruit, fresh juniper and black pepper, followed by herbaceous notes of bay leaf, coriander and angelica. More lavender brings a bright, delicate character to the full-bodied gin.
Refreshingly clean on the palate, with lime and bay leaf.

I am so confused by the 4.5 reviews for this gin. It literally tastes like the smell of laundry detergent. It tastes floral and clean, and there is absolutely no depth to the flavor. I would absolutely not recommend this gin.
My favourite gin by far. A wonderful combination of botanicals. A good price too.
This gin has gone straight into my top ten gins! Makes a superb G&T. A great gin for the price!
Having tried many different dry gins this is still our favourite.
By far my favourite modern gin, love the cloudy aspect and also the richness, brill as a G&T but i personally like it most in a Dirty Martini
