The signature Gin from Northern Ireland's Strawhill Estate Spirits Co. is Jacquard Gin, named in honour of Donaghcloney's history of Jacquard weaving. It's made with a combination of 12 botanicals, including golden flax seed (another nod to local history), lavender, rose, cardamom, orris and juniper, all built upon a wheat-based spirit. Wonderfully light a floral, this makes some great summery cocktails.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Rose really stands out, with subtly oily juniper acting as a savoury foil. Soft hints of kitchen spices later on.
