A lip-smacking variation on the Tarquin’s Handcrafted Cornish Gin recipe, with a focus on blackberries! They combine the gin with the delicious British blackberries as well as a small helping of Cornish wildflower honey to impart a subtle mellow sweetness. Superb in a summer-y cocktail, or simply served over ice.
Fresh red fruit up front, a core of pine-y juniper and orange oil, perhaps even a hint of Sherry!

I had this given to me as a present, I am quite hard to please with flavoured gins but this was delicious, not too sweet, pleasing to the palate and very refreshing, I served it with "Fever-Tree" tonic and lots of ice.
We experienced this in the Ginvent (our second annual advent calendar shipped to us in the States - so grateful for that service!) and my husband eyed it suspiciously. We've never done a flavoured gin, beyond the usual aromatics, but were immediately hooked. From nose to finish, the British Blackberry was a decadent experience. I am online now to order full bottles. The drams are such a tease! (But in a good way) - Thanks for introducing us to a favourite we'd never tried on our own.
I like a sweeter drink and have recently discovered sloe gin. When out for dinner, I was offered this instead of sloe gin. It was absolutely beautiful with lemonade (sorry to the purists who think it should only be served with tonic). If you like sloe gin, you'll love this!
I was given this as a gift. Lovely drink to start with, however I went to pour myself one a week later and it looked like it had gone off! Purple sediment bubbles floated in my glass that was also cloudy. There was no consume by date or storage instructions on the bottle. Down the sink it went ?
Had it in Cornwall with tonic and blackberries rather than lime wedges. Outstanding and very refreshing!
