Salcombe Phantom Voyager Bottling Note

Salcombe Gin's Voyager Series continues with Phantom, a cask-finished gin named after (and inspired by) a Salcombe Fruiter! The distillery partnered with Sauternes producer Château Climens for this one, with seven of its 16 botanicals sourced from the estate. It was also aged for eight months in casks which previously held the 2015 and 2016 vintages of Sauternes wine. Just 3,500 bottles were released, full of honey, fruit and florals.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Citrus blossom and touches of violet lead into candied peels, oak spices and peach, with piney juniper and pithy citrus lingering on a honeyed finish.

Salcombe Gin Phantom - Voyager Series Reviews

Another smash hit from Salcombe

Wow! Incredible. Don't even bother with Tonic just a cube of ice and a couple of large measures by the fire.
