An excellent gin from Japan's legendary House of Suntory - Roku Gin. This expression is made using a selection of botanicals, including six Japanese botanicals that provide a whistle-stop tour of the four seasons. These include sakura leaf and sakura flower for spring, sencha tea and gyokuro tea for summer, sansho pepper for autumn and yuzu peel for winter. Traditional gin botanicals also featured include the likes of juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander and cinnamon, among others.
Earthy and vegetal, with a light whisper of fruity sweetness hiding underneath. Peppery notes develop on the finish.
Cherry blossom and green tea provide a floral and sweet aroma.
Complex, multi layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with yuzu as the top note. Smooth and silky texture.
The crisp Japanese sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.

Really lovely original citrus taste to this Gin. Makes it stand out from the crowded market.
It's the best. A beautiful gin with gorgeous flavour. Great with Fevertree tonic
Tried this at the pump house in Bristol, fabulous gin! I was so pleased to see it at Waitrose. Superbly simple, not too floral (although I do like some floral gins too). Absolutely lip smackingly delicious. Expensive but worth it! Don’t hesitate, buy yourself a bottle, kick back and enjoy...
First time, love it
Sakura floral and citrus at the start (although wasn't distinctly Yuzu). What struck me the most were the distinct Sencha finish. Beautiful with tonic
