An excellent gin from Japan's legendary House of Suntory - Roku Gin. This expression is made using a selection of botanicals, including six Japanese botanicals that provide a whistle-stop tour of the four seasons. These include sakura leaf and sakura flower for spring, sencha tea and gyokuro tea for summer, sansho pepper for autumn and yuzu peel for winter. Traditional gin botanicals also featured include the likes of juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander and cinnamon, among others.
Earthy and vegetal, with a light whisper of fruity sweetness hiding underneath. Peppery notes develop on the finish.
Cherry blossom and green tea provide a floral and sweet aroma.
Complex, multi layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with yuzu as the top note. Smooth and silky texture.
The crisp Japanese sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.

This is so smooth and delicious I cannot bear to put tonic on it. Just ice and a slice. Not too sweet and very distinctive flavour. Enough juniper to be a real gin.
Love this on the rocks with a slice of lime. So smooth. Perfect subtle Blended flavours - a bit earthy, spicy, fruit and pepper. It is basically a London Dry but so special it is a shame to hide its glory in tonic.
Super light, very non gin-gin. I really like it as a nice alternative to traditional gin. I think it’s great in a martini. Very much inline with the lighter traditions found in the art of Japanese distilleries. It is subtle and fruity, with a nod towards Sencha like the label suggests. If you are a hardcore trad gin snob you’ll hate it; those with a wider palates will love it. Great in a G&T, makes a decent martini and rather great just straight in the rocks. Super smooth.
Not a fan at all. Tasted very vodka like, in that it lacked the flavours of a gin. Tried it with tonic, ginger ale, bitter lemon and aromatic tonic and none made it palatable.
