Made with a base of the signature 11 botanical from the Rare Bird London dry gin, the second release from Rare Bird marries rhubarb and ginger in the spirit! There's no sugar added, so it's full of tart rhubarb and lingering fiery ginger. The folks over at the distillery in Yorkshire suggest pairing it with tonic and an orange slice for a fruity serve.
Bold juniper notes and a touch of citrus, with tart rhubarb leading into red floral notes, rounded off by building ginger heat.

We went to the distillery in Talbot Yard, Malton and tested this Gin. I can say it is by far the best I have ever tasted. We ended up buying a bottle and it gets better every time I have one! Like previous reviews there is both a sweetness and warmth to this Gin.
This is my new favourite Gin! Its not like a lot of the gins on the market that are flavoured (using fake sweeteners and colourings). This is made with REAL rhubarb, a natural sweetness with a little warmth. I really enjoy with ginger ale.
So good!! Lovely smooth gin with a lovely finish.
