The Bluecoat American Dry distilled in a traditional copper pot still and is named after the uniforms worn by the militia in the American Revolution. The botanical recipe is kept secret however the style is a classic dry gin.
Pine needles, juniper and a blast of citrus open up this dry gin.
The juniper becomes more concentrated and the citrus element opens up into orange blossom and sherbet lemon.
The finish is sweet with a final hit of zesty citrus fruit.
A wonderful dry gin with refreshing citrus notes.

Best I have ever tasted
I love Bluecoat Gin. I drink it mixed with Soda, so that the wonderful juniper and citrus fruit flavours come through. If it's mixed with tonic, you don't realise what a special gin it is.
I'm tasting a lot of gin right now (professionally, you understand) and this does stand out for the fresh citrus flavours and crisp taste.
In my opinion, this beats Tangueray, Hendricks, Bombay Sapphire, and every other gin I have tasted. (Almost---read on). I would have given this 10 stars, except that I recently had something called Nolet's Dry Gin Silver (Master of Malt does not yet carry it). Now **that** is 10 stars.
If you like a distinct touch of citrus in your gin you'll love this. Distilled in a custom-designed pot still in Philadelphia this is cracking stuff whether you prefer classic G&T or use it in cocktails. It's fresh, clean and wonderfully well-made.
