Brecon Botanicals Gin is a tasty Welsh gin made at the Penderyn distillery. It is based on pure grain spirit and a special selection of botanicals. The illustrations were specially engraved and re-produced for this special edition. Very interesting stuff.
Soft juniper and dried herbs on the nose. A little citrus - orange and lemon peel, with hints of saffron.
Herbal palate, with earthy juniper and Eastern spices. A touch of bergamot, clove oil and cinnamon.
Cassia bark and saffron on the tail.

Have just bought a bottle of this on spec. What a pleasing surprise. Neat without ice it is really flavourful and quite what you would call a 'winter warmer' with bags of depth and warmth. With tonic, lime & ice it is a good summer drink with a nice range of notes. It is May 2019 so we have had hail and warm sunshine in the same afternoon so I've tried it both ways in one day and there is nothing not to like about it. Dive in!
Tried a bottle of this last week and it’s a perfect gin in my opinion. Nice subtle flavours - my new favourite closely followed by chase.
Just had my first taste (neat) and am very impressed. Lovely bottle and a local product, so 'had to buy it' didn't I? Feared though it might be perfumed, or sweet, or over-citrusssy, but none of these. Must invest...
I have to say I love gin ! It's also fair to say I've tried quite a few different varieties, but out of them all Brecon Botanicals with Elderflower Fever-Tree tonic is my absolute favourite hands down ! Buy a bottle or two as you certainly won't be disappointed !!
Its the best gin ever ...hands down Have it with elderflower fever tree loads of ice and lime...omg ding dong
