From the Orkney Distillery comes this sweet and fruity Old Tom gin, dubbed Kirkjuvagr Beyla. In Norse mythology, Beyla is the goddess of bees (not beads, there's a different deity in charge of those), so it's not such a surprise that Orcadian honey is used in this pink tipple. Botanicals are grown on the islands, and alongside the honey from the distillery's own garden, Scottish raspberries are also added to the wonderful Kirkjuvagr Gin.
Aromatic herbs and spicy juniper alongside juicy raspberries, a drizzle of honey sweetness and a pinch of sea salt.

Opened to sample and tried again a few few weeks later my bottle seems to have lost it's nice raspberry flavour. Disappointed.
Nice base but slight raspberryade cosmetic taste. Prefer the Whitley Neill version.
I thought this was a lovely sweet pink gin but hubby was not too keen.
Really loved this gin - you can taste the fresh raspberries with notes of honey. Not artificial tasting like some flavoured gins. Great for summer.
Tasted of tinned strawberries, sweets and something bitter. Not unpleasant but wouldn't have known this was a gin.
