A tropical tipple here from McQueen up in Scotland, it's a Coconut & Lime Gin! Gloriously green, it's set up to be a hit in all manner of summery serves. Perhaps a gin-based twist on a Mojito?
Juniper notes lead into zesty lime and sweet, coconut creaminess.
£5.30 - £15.38
The old reviews saying it does not taste of coconut or leaving nothing said about the gin but gives it one star is just plain wrong. Firstly it tastes dominantly the two flavour notes as stated. The coconut hits right away and follows well in the taste of lime. It's smooth and easy going, I recommend this gin for the price, it's simply a refreshing interesting gin.
Absolutely awful, I feel totally let down it didn’t smell of coconut it certainly didn’t taste of coconut and it’s just a cheap lime cordel with a bit of gin mixed in an expensive bottle total waste of money never been so disappointed with an experience gin before. They should not advertise this as coconut !!!!!
I was really looking forward to this, but was sorely disappointed. As other reviewers have said, complete absence of coconut flavour. Shame as I like their Gin and really enjoyed the black cherry and vanilla. This one was an expensive weak lime cordial.
This is a great flavoured gin. Easy to drink, not sure why it's rated so low - thanks for encouraging a reduced price though.... ;)
I bought this before any reviews were here, much like the people below. However, unlike them I really enjoyed this gin. Yes, there is a lime cordial sweetness to the gin, but the coconut flavour comes in at end. It is subtle, but it was definitely there. I also found that it makes a fantastic cocktail when mixed with dark rum and watermelon juice.
