A wonderful Scottish gin inspired by juicy tropical flavours! This is Emporium 1 from Mycroft Gin, distilled in Scotland with 11 botanicals including hibiscus, hemp and orange alongside some more usual suspects. Then it's blended with Highland spring water and bottled at 41% ABV. A fruity tropical burst of flavour here.
Tart hibiscus alongside sweet orange citrus, with herbaceous juniper and aromatic spices on the finish.
I went all in and bought a bottle of each of the Mycrofts. Did two separate tastings. First day a simple G&T with a classic and simple tonic and on day two only the G. Overall they are fantastic! And the bottle and cap are cool. You can repurpose the bottle due to the cap (screw lid) so now you have a nice water bottle (I have three, right). I'll repeat this intro for all three emporia. And now special notes on emporium 3: This is my favourite gin. I love the peppery taste that sticks with you. You can experiment with all the cool tonics and this G will accomodate!
