Made by the Anchor Distilling Company, which was founded in 1993. Junipero gin is flavoured with over 12 different botanicals which are redistilled in a small copper still. The botanicals include coriander, liquorice and juniper. This was awarded a Double Gold at the 2004 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

I tried Junipero Gin several years ago when my daughter lived in Conneticut and became completely preoccupied by it! I've never tasted a gin so deep & delicious. I live in Michigan & can't buy it here or even ship it here. So I look for it when I'm traveling and then have it shipped to relatives in Ohio (where it's lawful to do so). Then we rendezvous so I can bring my precious Junipero home. I've considered moving to California so I would have free access to Junipero, but then I'd have to find a new husband. LOVE JUNIPERO!
The juniper explodes in your mouth and nose, but it is incredibly smooth going down. A gin that is very easy to drink straight on the rocks.
This is, hands down, a top of the pop gins. It just graces the palate with its alcohol infused elegance, leaving much desire for more.
