The Isle of Wight Distillery has created a vibrant variation of it's excellent Mermaid Gin, boasting a delightfully sweet flavour profile and rosy hue thanks to an infusion of Island strawberries! These tasty little rascals make for an intriguing juxtaposition with the botanicals already in the mix, including the subtly savoury rock samphire, the herbaceous Boadicea hops and the zesty Sicilian lemon. Smashing in a G&T garnished with strawberries.
Light and bright, the strawberry notes arrive right away, supported by citrus and slowly building juniper spice. Samphire gives is a coastal edge, while hints of liquorice root and coriander develop later on.
I've never been a lover of Gin, but this is my favourite drink now
Seems to be extremes in reviews - possibly some by those who have 'no idea' - Mermaid Pink Gin is 'yummy' the best inside a great bottle - well done all :-)
Brought for as a Christmas present by my hubby after seeing it in the shops before Christmas. Wow, it’s absolutely scrumptious!
Absolutely delicious! The only problem is that the bottle empties too quickly!
Absolutely delicious gin, so pleased I tried it! Opened as a Christmas treat and didnt last 5 minutes between the 4 of us .. so will now need to buy more! .... the bottle also looks amazing on my drinks trolley!
