This zesty little number comes to us from Hensol Castle in Wales, made by treating a base of its Hensol Castle Welsh Dry Gin to the addition of blood orange peel distillate – but the juniper and spice from the original gin still shines through. Blood Orange Negronis, here we come!
Blood orange zestiness at the fore, with lemon, floral hints, spicy juniper, and a tart finish.
Love the taste, the look and the bottle is now part of our house decor!
Whilst I enjoy the Welsh Dry Gin this is my favourite from the Hensol Castle range. I drink it with tonic and a slice of grapefruit and it tastes amazing.
It’s terrible - nothing more to say about it.
