Gin Mare

Mediterranean gin distilled in a thirteenth century chapel in an ancient fishing village where every bottle is unique as every year the star product, arbequina olive, changes acidity. Gin Mare is made with a variety of botanicals including rosemary, thyme, basil with lots of zest. This stuff can easily be paired with a vast range of foods and ingredients if you fancy it.

Herbal nose with berry fruits. Hints of soapiness and perfume.

Palate

Very herbal and aromatic palate. Perfume-like delivery. Coriander and tart juniper, citrus zest.

Stunning gin

An amazing tasting Gin. One of my favourites. Smooth, clear and crisp taste. Not the usual over flowery smell that some gins have this one smells citrusy like perfume!

Perfect with ice and a slice

A fantastic Gin... I found out about this a few years ago and it is now my "go to" Gin. Light and refreshing with a unique taste due to the Mediterranean twist. Don't over complicate with lots of garnish... ice and a slice over a mid range tonic is perfect.

Beautiful quirky gin

A very unusual refreshing gin with a taste all of its own. The botanicals really do set this gin apart from your run of the mill gin. My husband and his friend happily finished up the remainder of our bottle in the garden chatting in the sunshine.

Most definitely worth the money

First introduced to this a few years ago and has become my all time favourite. Beautifully paired with Fever tree Mediterranean tonic poured over strawberries and ice. For a sweet citrus taste pair with Fentimans pink grapefruit tonic.

Not worth the money

Overated. For over £38 a bottle id rather have 3 bottles of standard supermarket gin. It was on on its own but did not mix well with tonic. Even a small amount of good quality tonic overpowered it.
