    Gin Mare

Mediterranean gin distilled in a thirteenth century chapel in an ancient fishing village where every bottle is unique as every year the star product, arbequina olive, changes acidity. Gin Mare is made with a variety of botanicals including rosemary, thyme, basil with lots of zest. This stuff can easily be paired with a vast range of foods and ingredients if you fancy it.

    Something delighfully diferent

Gives of a wonderful aroma just sitting in your glass. I think this carries enough of it's own flavours without adding. Jus a little slim line for me.

Getting a bottle on the advice of a friend of mine, will write back. Got to say 'Gin Connoisseur' might not be the right title to the person below me if you write of most British gins!

    Gin connoisseur

We were introduced to Gin Mare by the bartender at Hotel Arts (Ritz Carlton) in Barcelona in early July 2014. In a Martini it is served with a lemon twist and fresh basil leaf, accentuating its basil botanical and slight citrus flavor. In a gin and tonic, Gin Mare is served with Fever Tree tonic from the USA, a leaf of fresh basil and fresh lemon or lime at your request. It is 42.5% alcohol (85 proof) but very smooth and refreshing. Unlike most Gins with the over powering Juniper oil used as a botanical, Gin Mare does not smell or taste like any other Gin I have tasted. It is quite refreshing, and light. It certainly is a huge improvement over US and most British Gins. Hendricks Gin, with its cucumber botanical essence is a close rival but not as smooth or refreshing as Gin Mare. Truly an outstanding Gin product.

    Lovely

It is very good and very different. We all expect gin to have juniper flavours, but that doesn't really need to be the case. This is lovely and refreshing and would make a nice G&T. As far as the price goes, it is high, but judging by the bottle, it seems they are going for an up-scale market. £30 would be about right for this.

Very underwhelming, non-descript and hugely overpriced

Brought some back from Spain and was really excited about it. Sadly, I honestly wouldn't know this wasn't Gordon's.
