A refreshing variation on Old Tom gin from Scotland's Rock Rose, utilising the deliciousness of pink grapefruit! Organic pink grapefruits are peeled by hand, and the peel goes in to the botanical basket alongside the supporting botanicals for distillation. A touch of muscovado sugar is added afterwards, bringing that familiar Old Tom sweetness to the fore.
Floral up front with citrus blossom and lavender, shortly followed by forest floor earthiness and oily juniper warmth.
Angelica, fresh grapefruit zest, more lavender and juniper, a few flourishes of pink peppercorn.
Lasting fresh fruit sweetness and a touch of vanilla.

Refreshing gin! Loved it during the summer and have kept it on my shelf throughout the winter too. Excellent in a negroni.
Nice concept that really intrigued but the taste was initially OK but was followed by a pungent biley aftertaste, Guess this was the grapefruit!
