Cardiff Distillery have created a most intriguing gin here, Fields of Pontcanna is named after a district in Cardiff, known for its expansive green space. Steeped with orange and including a combination of botanicals such as tarragon and galangal root, this gin is then aged in charred chestnut barrels, giving it a lovely nutty element! Certainly one to try for all the gin adventurers, this should add an impressive twist to your favourite cocktails too.
Sweet orange and sharp citrus contrast juniper and herbaceous tarragon, nice depth from the chestnut barrel, warming and gently spiced.
