Hear ye, hear ye! Gin fit for a King and Queen here! Buckingham Palace Coronation Gin has been made using hand-picked botanicals from the palace gardens, which includes hawthorn berries and lemon verbena. The gin has been released to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on 6 May. Profits from this gin also go towards the Royal Collection Trust, which looks after the collections and palaces of the royal family.
A core of juniper is balanced by zesty citrus, and delicate floral notes, with some apple-like tartness from the hawthorn, and plenty of warm spices.
