Benjamin Hall was a native Welshman, who oversaw the restoration of the Houses of Parliament after a fire in 1834. Some also say that Big Ben is even named after him, as he was a rather tall fellow. If there's anything better than having a giant clock named after you, then surely it's a gin! Benjamin Hall is a a premium London Dry gin from a secret Welsh family recipe, distilled with 11 botanicals. The result is a spirit with sublime balance.
Rich and smooth, juniper lead with a balanced delicate floral edge.
Might be good as base alcohol for a punch or something but pretty hopeless for a g and t. A waste of good tonic. As bad as Greenalls. Won’t be buying this again.
When there is so many flavoured Gins around - this is a pleasant surprise. Great value for money - no messing around Gin - great forward nose and taste of Juniper - with hints of spice in the background. Lovely and Gin with no complaints.
It’s alright, if you’re just after a long g&t, heavy on the t, plenty of ice. Not enough character to warrant the price tag though - should sit with Gordon’s etc
With an oversaturated market this gin fails to hit the mark on every level. Strange all the glowing reviews. It’s a big no from me.
My go-to gin. The juniper flavour is so well balanced, it makes for the perfect Gin and Tonic. Lovely over ice too. Perfect.
