Old fashioned sweets ahoy! Nostalgic wafts of cold cubes and gummy lemonade bottles, soon joined by notes of anise, close and a touch of vanilla.
Fruity rum notes a right up front on this one - think mango, orange and sweet molasses. Then it's right back to classic gin botanicals, with waxy lemon peels, crisp juniper and continuing clove.
Oak comes through more and more on the finish, with lasting citrus.
Just a bottle of NOPE. Was expecting gin with a hint of rum, but the only taste and flavour was rum. No lovely gin at all.
Gin and rum - probably not the most traditional of combinations, but somehow this works. It works like nothing else gin-ageing-related I've ever tried works. Incredible. You have to try this.
