The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions - Equinox

The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions series expands with Equinox, an English single malt whisky named after the astronomical phenomenon when the plane of Earth's equator passes through the centre of the Sun. Specifically, the Autumnal Equinox that occurs in late September, which hails the end of summer and the dawn of a new season.

The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions - Iris

This colourful bottle is part of The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions, which sees a departure from the English distillery's usual sherry-led house style. Named Iris, whisky maker Dhavall Gandhi was inspired by a town in the western Himalayas, Gulmarg, which translates as 'meadow of flowers'.

The Whiskymaker's Editions collection of English single malt whiskies from the Lakes distillery is going out with a bang, with this, the very final release of the series. Galáxia celebrates the entire collection in a coming together of some of the most prized characteristics from previous expressions, from floral, perfumed notes to autumn spices, and vanilla cream to stewed fruits, bottled up at a nice, robust 54% ABV.

This unique set showcases the influence of each type of hand-selected, sherry-seasoned oak cask on our spirit in seven 200ml bottles (Fino, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Palo cortado, Cream, Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso). The set also includes an Elements guidebook which offers a background to each Sherry cask and how it interacts with the new make spirit.
