Located in the historic market town of Ulverston, Cumbria, Shed One Gin Distillery stands as a testament to passion, ingenuity, and the dream of two enthusiasts: Andy & Zoe Arnold-Bennett. Launched in 2016, the distillery has since become a symbol of artisanal craftsmanship in the gin-making world.

The inception of Shed One is intrinsically tied to its founders' personal journey. It all began when Zoe, who had been crafting compound gin elixirs, piqued Andy's interest in the distillation process. Their shared passion culminated in the idea of establishing their own gin production. The perfect location? Their very own garden shed, aptly named Shed One, closest to their house. Thus, the distillery was born in this quaint space, marking the genesis of their gin-making adventure.

In 2019, as demand grew and ambitions expanded, the duo shifted their operations to The Old Calf Shed, though Shed One remains a symbolic origin point.

Under the careful stewardship of the Arnold-Bennetts, Shed One Distillery has garnered numerous accolades. Their Visitor Attraction won the prestigious Cumbria Tourism's EXPERIENCE OF THE YEAR and Icons of Gin's BEST VISITOR ATTRACTION in 2022. Additionally, their commitment to sustainability has earned them The Gin Guide's ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AWARD for three consecutive years (2020, 2021 & 2022).

Cuckold's Revenge, their pioneering creation, not only serves as the flagship gin but also holds the distinction of being featured in "101 Gins To Try Before You Die." Alongside their core products, Andy & Zoe often collaborate on limited-edition gins, both for their label and bespoke creations for other brands.
