Fabrica de Tequilas Finos makes some of the most distinctive Tequilas on the market thanks to its vibrantly decorated skull-shaped bottles, inspired by the Calaveras used in Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations in Mexico. The agave it uses comes from Los Altos de Jalisco and the Tequila region, which is manually cut and introduced into the autoclave where the sugars will be transformed through cooking. No diffuser is used in this process. After cooking for 10 hours the agave piñas go to a modern cylinder mill where they are broken apart, then a proprietary yeast strain is used for fermentation, which lasts for 72 hours. The double distillation of Fabrica de Tequilas Finos Tequila is carried out in stainless steel stills and for its aged products, French oak barrels or American oak barrels are used.
