Anglesey Rum Co.

In 2018, Rob and Maria started Llanfairpwll Distillery Ltd on the Isle of Anglesey. They wanted to make small-batch spirits with a local touch. A few years later, in 2021, they launched 'Anglesey Rum Co'.

They blend and bottle various types. But they focus on making their own. They ferment pure cane molasses with Welsh water and yeast for about a week. First, they distil in a 300-litre pot still. Then, they use a smaller 100-litre one for a second run.

The original Llanfairpwll Distillery, begun in 2018, focuses on gin and rum. They mix local and international botanicals. This creates a unique taste and smell.

However, Anglesey Rum Co - set up in 2021 - is all about rum. They use 100% pure cane molasses. They also offer a range of rums from around the world. They select, blend, and bottle these.

Since 2020, Llanfairpwll Distillery has also been offering contract distilling. They make custom spirits for other companies. This includes recipe development, bottling, and labelling, all done in-house.

Rob and Maria's projects, Llanfairpwll Distillery and Anglesey Rum Co, show their passion for distilling. They include their local area in their products. They also help others make their spirits. They offer quality, innovative, and unique spirits to fans both locally and worldwide.
