The Dalmore Cask Curation
Want to own the Dalmore Cask Curation?
This autumn, Highland distillery The Dalmore spoiled us with the second release from its incredible Cask Curation series. Each edition features a trio of old, rare, and sublime single malt Scotch whiskies that demonstrate the distillery’s considered approach to maturation. Only 150 sets of the Cask Curation series The Port Edition were made available, and of that, just 13 have come to the UK.
The Dalmore Cask Curation second edition was created with esteemed cask partners Graham’s Port to explore what specific influence and effect Port pipe maturation has on Dalmore whisky. Symington Family Estates, the company behind Graham’s, gave The Dalmore exclusive access so each cask represents a genuine rarity in the Port world.
The Cask Curation series The Port Edition is presented in a specially commissioned hand-made green leather-finish travel case and retails for £35,000. Given the rarity of this release, we’re asking whisky lovers to first register their interest in attaining one of these beautiful collections.
The first whisky in the collection is the 27 Year Old 1997 Cask Finish – matured in American white oak bourbon casks and then finished in Cask No. 2: a 1997 Single Harvest Tawny Port cask from Graham’s Port.
Next in the collection is the 30 Year Old 1994 Cask Finish – matured in American white oak bourbon casks and then finished in Cask No. 3: a 1994 Single Harvest Tawny Port cask from Graham’s Port.
Finally, there’s the show stopping 43 Year Old 1952 Cask Finish – matured in American white oak bourbon casks and then finished in Cask No. 1: a 1952 Single Harvest Tawny Port cask from Graham’s Port.
