Courvoisier uses a blend of grapes from the Fins Bois and Bons Bois regions, with a touch of Petite Champagne to make its vibrant and versatile VS Cognac. Carefully aged for between two and eight years in Courvoisier's proprietary barrels, its vibrant notes of fresh fruit and oak make it an ideal base for a whole array of cocktails.

this is best brands brandy
This is possibly the only VS cognac that is still enjoyable when drank neat. Others are just good mixers at best.
It's not too bad a taste (though I'm not much of a cognac drinker), but it has a horrible smell of petrol. If you can avoid smelling the stuff, then drink away. I should clarify that this petrol smell is only present when taking a large sniff. A smaller sniff gives a general, fruity, cognac smell. I'd say that you should choose whether or not to buy this based on the size of your sniff...
