Made on the Ragnaud-Sabourin family's private Grande Champagne estates (first established in 1850). All of the cognacs here are matured as vintage cognacs - there is no blending between years. This is a superb 10 year old from the premier cru Cognac region.
Floral and fruity. Sweet and creamy with custard, apple strudel, marmalade, hints of pepper and oak.<br
The palate entry is led by oak grip, with spicy tannins and sweet honey and blossom.
A long finish with spices and fruit.
At first I wasn’t sure but by the end of the first tipple I was a fan. Now with the decanter nearly empty I have come to love it. Deep, fruity with a really long finish it is time tO order some more
This sublime quality and yet affordable, what a luxury this one is. Beats the 20 yo by far. Every bottle sofar was great!!
whilst in Verona we found a 'osteria' next to the castle where I had a glass of this accompanied by a Romeo y guiletta cigar, the three things complimented each other very well, the cognac was rich with flavour and certainly a creation worth accreditation
